One of my very favorite weddings yet. What a beautifully simple one it was. Thanks to my assistant Brenna and my husband Curtis for all their help!
I adore Erika. She's has the most sweet temperament, and she's absolutely the perfect match for my brother Ben (he's a stud right?) When it came to talk about flowers, I knew Erika would be a fun bride to work with because she won't want the norm. For her wedding she wants the colors of the flowers to be the shades of a blueberry with some lighter tones. I can't wait for their wedding day coming up in June!

The third installment of recreating the masters with Brittany Jepson of The House That Lars Built is on her blog today! Go check it out to see the painting! Photos by the beautiful Kate Osborne.
I find it so odd that no matter what, the first arrangement is always my favorite. Maybe it's because I take a little more time on the first one to come up with the composition I'd like the rest to follow, and I'm obsessive about the color tones being just right. I ended up with two favorites this time, and these were them, plopped them close to the windows.

I really loved the movement and texture in this arrangement. It was for something pretty cool as well! Can't wait to share.

A few more from Saturday's wedding because I just loved the arrangements so much! Half the tables had centerpieces while the others were a collection of pretty candles in different heights. This is a great way to get a full table on a budget, and it still looks just as elegant.
