Here in the midst of wedding season when things are so crazy I barely have time to breath, I think back on these lovely Pop Up Shops and how much I enjoyed the interaction with people. They are a fair amount of work too, but I really love hosting these. I look forward to the time I can think about doing another one. :)
With Summer in full swing it's been complete madness. Almost every week I've had more than one wedding with very few weeks off. I'm incredibly blessed to have so many wonderful clients this year. It's been a challenge though and I'm definitely learning my limits. The struggle though is that I truly love the work, I love the thrill and the rush, I love my hands in the flowers, and the ordering process and how meticulous I am with each one catering it to each client. It's hard for me to turn down these incredible brides who love flowers as much as I do. Despite the challenges of doing flowers, and there are zillions, I love it enough to keep pushing through those. I know the second wedding season is over my heart will break a little until Spring comes again. Until then, I'll do my best to enjoy every moment.

I loved showering this beautiful girl! She just had her baby boy Jack and he is more than perfect! More from this shower coming soon.
A few images from Jordan and Devin's wedding back in May. I loved setting up this wedding because it was one of those weddings where everything went smooth with time to spare. Just as I was finishing up Jordan's mom turned to ask me something and then saw the full set up and nearly teared up! She hugged me so tight and thanked me so many times. That reaction, is what I do this for. Photos by

I don't keep up with a personal blog anymore, but I felt it necessary to wish my husband Curtis a happy anniversary. We have been married 5 years this year. We have certainly had our ups and downs, our trials and our triumphs. I'm so grateful I've been able to share those moments with Curtis. He's really been such a support system for me mentally, physically, and emotionally. He's handsome, smart, adventurous, and his love of people is infectious. It doesn't matter where we are, or what we are doing, one of Curtis' favorite past times is talking with strangers, hearing their stories. He always tells me that the most important thing in life we have is the relationships we share with others, and I'm so glad my most important relationship is with him. Happy Anniversary Curt! (Only I get to call him that)
This was such a lovely day. This is what flowers are about. I've made some of the most wonderful people this past year. Friends I've made and know I will have a very long time.

Madeline was such an incredible bride to work with. I loved every minute of the planning process with her. This is a girl who loves flowers and knows flowers. She knew exactly what she wanted and it made the ordering and arranging a bit more challenging but it was a fun challenge. Her and Ryan make such a beautiful match and these photos by Ciara do not disappoint.

I have no words for the beauty that is Karley Parker. When I found out she would be the model for this shoot, I was more than thrilled. Her whimsical and beautifully natural look paired so perfectly with all of the elements. These photos were the outtakes for the beautiful
